Compared to his swim a month ago, he was out much faster on the first 100 today as he turned in a 52.91 at the 100 mark compared to a 53.32 at the GLVC Championships. He also had a strong 3rd 50 and was out fast enough to stay under the record despite having a slower final 50.
Pock notably swam a 51.59 last night to break the Division II meet record in the 100 breast, and also is the D2 record holder in the 100 breast as he swam a 51.58 at the GLVC Championships last month. The sophomore has two more years to re-write the record book.
