2026 Pro Swim Series #2 – Westmont

The 2026 Pro Swim Series rolls on to Westmont, Illinois this weekend, and even without many contributions from top collegiate swimmers preparing for the NCAA Championships, the meet is both bigger (by 75 swimmers) and better (with the addition of some very high profile internationals) than the Austin stop.
Prize Money Per Event (Standard)
- 1st place – $1,500
- 2nd place – $1,000
- 3rd place – $500
Prize Money Per Event (Super Events)
At each stop in the 2026 season, prize money will be doubled for a selection of races, with each race getting one ‘doubling’ for the winner throughout the season. Along with that doubling come extra swims: events will have the same number of rounds as they would at the Olympics or World Championships.
In Westmont, that means that the men’s 800 free will be swum as prelims/finals races, and all eight stroke 100 races will be swum as prelims/semifinals/finals.
- 1st place – $3,000
- 2nd place – $1,000
- 3rd place – $500
That means there will be less prize money than in Austin, where winners of 11 races were given double the prize money.
The double prize money has attracted some big names, especially in the 800 free, where Bobby Finke, Daniel Wiffen, and Sam Short will all compete: three of the world’s best.

The schedule shift results in each Pro Swim Series meet shifting to four full days of racing with prelims and finals sessions, adding one session to the previous format, which saw a timed final evening session on Day 1 followed by three days of racing with no semi-finals.
