The CSCAA has released its lists of Scholar All-Americans in the NCAA, and at the Division II level, the Long Island University Post women topped the lists with 8 honorees. On the men’s side, Grand Valley State put 6 on the list, most of any men’s program.
The lists include multiple names from some high-placing teams. Women’s NCAA Division II runners-up Queens put 7 on the list, tying Wayne State for second-most on the women’s list. Wayne State was third at the national championships.
Grand Valley State had the most total honorees between men and women. Along with their Division II-high 6 All-American men, GVS had 6 women, with their 12 total All-Americans topping the 11 from Bridgeport.

Scholar All-America recognition is given to athletes who hold a 3.5 GPA or better and qualify for and compete at their national championship meet. Honorable Mention honors go to athletes with a 3.5 GPA or better who hit an NCAA B cut during the season. Divers earn Honorable Mention if they compete at the NCAA qualifying competition while holding a 3.5 or better GPA.

William Gombos mention for Grand Valley is my grandson and I am very proud of him and his accomplishments. I live in Virginia, but was able to get a ride to Grand Valley for his graduation in April. I know his Mom and Dad are very proud of him also.
