Beryl Gastaldello on New Training with Elite Group in France: “I’m not used to being last”

French Olympian Beryl Gastaldello took the win in the women’s 50 free in Sacramento, touching first in 24.75. Gastaldello recently changed coaches and training bases in October, now training with INSEP in France, where fellow Olympians Maxime Grousset and Yohann Ndoye-Brouard train. The former Texas A&M Aggie says the training is hard, and as there are not many women in the group, she’s typically going last, a position she’s not used to.

It’s amazing that Beryl still have the drive to compete at the highest level after 14 years competing internationally.
