Tsunami Swim Team’s Alex Enyeart wrapped up his weekend of racing with a victory in the 1000 free on Sunday, winning in a lifetime best time of 8:47.22.
Enyeart’s win completed a sweep of the distance events, having already claimed the title in the 500 free (4:16.30) and 1650 free (14:43.03). The 1000 free also marked his 4th individual win, as he also prevailed in the 400 IM (3:46.49).
CSP’s Sydney Schoeck posted a double victory on Sunday, as she walked away with the championship title in both the 1650 free and 200 IM.
Schoeck won the 1650 in 16:01.49, dropping 30.75 off of her lifetime best and racing into the wall over 36 seconds ahead of runner-up McKenzie Vasquez. She went on to win the 200 IM in 1:59.48, just half a second off her personal best.
Nate Thomas of River City Aquatics also walked away with two victories on day 4. He won the 200 IM in a lifetime best time of 1:46.66, knocking 2.28 off of his previous best. Thomas also helped his team to a win in the 400 medley relay, splitting a time of 55.08 on the breaststroke leg. He was joined by teammates Tripp Hurst, Phineas Theall and Tylan Thomas, posting an overall time of 3:18.64.
The women’s 50 back saw Lucy Velte and Hayden Gibson flip-flop their results from the 100 back, with Velte claiming the win in the 50 in 24.67. She blasted into the wall over half a second ahead of Gibson (25.20) to secure her 5th victory of the meet.
It was a family affair in the 100 freestyle races, as Seahawks Swim Club’s Alyssa Albertyn won the women’s 100 free (49.17), while brother Dillon Albertyn took home the title in the men’s 100 free (44.14). Both Albertyns turned in lifetime best performances on their way to victory.
