Ricki Lee Hodges Verbally Commits to Liberty Flames

  0 Retta Race | November 06th, 2014

The Liberty University Flames gain a sprint freestyler/breaststroker for their 2014-2015 season, as Souderton, PA-native Ricki Lee Hodges verbally commits to swim for head coach Jake Shellenberger.  Hodges brings unique experience to Liberty, as she also is a strong water polo player at Souderton Area High School.  She has played goalie since her sophomore year and earned 1st team All-Conference and 2nd team All-State at the conclusion of the 2013 season.

In her swimming career, according to her NCAA recruitment page, Hodges has clocked best times of 1:07.33 in the 100y breaststroke and 25.33 in the 50y free to add to the Flames’ arsenal next season.  Her talents will certainly be welcomed, as Liberty graduates several valuable senior women this Spring, including fellow Souderton, PA native, Chloe Thomas, herself a sprint freestyler.
