Savanna Carlson, a senior at Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona, has verbally committed to swim for the University of Wisconsin beginning in the 2017-18 season. Carlson is a four-time Arizona state champion, having won the 200 IM the last three years in a row and the 100 free, as well, as a junior. At the most recent 2016 Arizona State Swimming & Diving Championships, held at the beginning of November, Carlson won her third 200 IM title with 2:03.16, eking out a victory by 20/100.
