The inaugural CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge continues this evening at the at the Allen Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, TN. Four teams, representing each of the NCAA D1 Power 4 conferences, will be competing in a series of dual meets to crown an overall dual meet championship.

Teams:

  • Arizona State (Big 12)
  • Michigan (Big Ten)
  • Tennessee (SEC)
  • Virginia (ACC)

Each team was seeded #1-4 per gender. The first round of competition will feature the #1 Arizona State men against the #4 Virginia men, as well as the #1 Virginia vs. the #4 Arizona State women. Each gender has a separate bracket, so if we understand correctly, after this first round, you could have a dual meet happening that features up to four different teams.

The first meet earlier this afternoon went according to chalk, as the #1 ASU men defeated the #4 UVA by a wide margin, and the #1 UVA women did the same to the #4 ASU women.

Meet #2 features Tennessee and Michigan, with the Tennessee men holding the #2 seed and the Michigan women holding the #3 seed, and vice versa.

Day 1 Event Lineup:
● 400 Medley Relay
● 200 Free
● 50 Free
● 400 IM
● 100 Fly
● 100 Free
● 100 Back
● 100 Breast
● 400 Free Relay

Scoring Note:

The scoring system is markedly different than normal dual meet scoring. Each individual race consists of three head-to-head matchups, and the winner of each earns one point, and the overall winners gains one more point. We’ll list the results 1st-6th in order of time, but we’ll also include an asterisk next to the three swimmers who won their head-to-head matchups.

Bella is so back, Nesty and his B Staff of coaches must be challenged with what they pissed away. You can clearly see what the difference is and we are not mid season yet.

Seriously?

Bella Sims could not even beat Anna Peplowski in the women’s 200 meter freestyle (Carmel, IN & Westmont, IL) at the 2025 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup tour. In addition, there is the matter of two Aussies.
