Congratulations to CDN82, our night four ‘Guess the Times’ contest champion!  CDN82 jumped up 50+ spots in our rankings.  Overall, usausausa fell off the pace, while RUN-DMC kept the pressure on with another top-5 day to move up to the top spot.

Day 4 stats/notes:

  • It’s clear at this point; almost everyone expected more from the top talent at Trials.  At least 89% of entrants had faster predictions than the final times in 10 of 11 spots
  • Only two contestants were “right on” in an event tonight: Amunn in 2nd place of the women’s 200 IM, and em18 on Katie Ledecky’s winning 200 free time
  • Nobody was within 0.2 seconds on ANY of the three 200 fly times.  That’s easily the largest event spread we’ve seen so far.
