Emily Allen Gives Verbal Commitment to Tennessee

The Tennessee Volunteers were on the receiving end of two more verbal commitments today, with Emily Allen of North Carolina.

Building off the momentum from Maddy Banic committing earlier this week, Tennessee has now added another piece in what could be the beginnings of a big class for the Volunteers.

Allen, one of the top swimmers out of the loaded swim state of North Carolina, is a huge pickup for Tennessee, and a perfect fit for a Matt Kredich-coached program.  A Junior Pan Pac team qualifier, Allen will instantly be dropped into all three free relays, at minimum, boasting a 22.75-48.73-1:46.78 in the 50-100-200 freestyles.

Emily Allen top times:

50 yard free: 22.75
100 yard free: 48.73
200 yard free:
1:46.78
500 yard free:
4:55.16

50 meter free: 26.06
100 meter free: 56.37
200 meter free: 1:59.35
