USA Synchro Announces Junior Duet, Soloist for UANA Pan American Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – USA Synchro has announced that Caitlin Klauer (Andover, Mass./Optima Synchro) and Elizabeth Walsh (Cincinnati, Ohio/Cincinnati Synchrogators) will compete for the U.S. at the UANA Pan American Synchronized Swimming Championships in Calgary, Canada, Aug. 17-22.

 

Klauer will swim solo and the pair will team up in duet at the UANA Pan American Championships, recognized as the premier age group competition in the Americas. The U.S. 13-15 and 12 & Under National Teams also will compete at the event.

 

Klauer was a member of the 2014 U.S. 13-15 National Team that won gold at the UANA Pan American Championships in Riverside, Calif. She has been a member of ANA Synchro and Optima Synchro.

 

Swimming for the Cincinnati Synchrogators, Walsh won duet and figures in the 18-19 age group at the 2014 eSynchro Age Group Championships. In 2013, she finished third in duet in the 16-17 age group, and second in team at 18-19.

 

Klauer and Walsh will train under the direction of coaches Lolli Montico and Kim LoPorto.
