Upper MainLine YMCA hires Louis Petto as 4th head coach in team history

Pennsylvania’s Upper MainLine YMCA has hired a new head coach, making Louis Petto just the fourth in program history.

Petto comes to Upper MainLine from the Ocean County YMCA in Toms River, New Jersey, where he’s been the head coach for the past 12 years.

“This is just an unbelievable opportunity,” Petto said in the team’s press release. “I’m coming with the mindset that I’m going to build this program and make it one of the best YMCA program’s in the Country, this is where I want to be.”

Ocean County was one of the top YMCA teams in the country under Petto, but Upper MainLine has long been a power as well. Petto replaces Glenn Neufeld, who took the head coach and aquatics director job at Mercersburg Academy this spring.
