The biggest difference today was the breaststroke leg as Jeremias Pock blasted a 50.35 on the 2nd leg, over a second and a half faster than Davi Mourao was for Drury last year. Pock is the top seed in the 100 breast tomorrow by over a second with a 51.58 entry time.
Elias Noe notably also had a strong split and was the fastest of tonight’s field. Noe won the ‘B’ final of the 100 fly at the start of tonight’s session in a 45.43, a time that would have been 2nd if he had made the ‘A’ final but he swam a 47.23 for 16th in the morning to make the ‘B’ final by 0.07 seconds.
