Dear Diving Community,

The U.S. Professional Diving Coaches Association (PDCA) is hosting a Town Hall this Sunday to discuss an important question for the future of our sport: How can we increase attendance, visibility, and enthusiasm for college diving across the country?

To make this conversation meaningful, we need input from the people who know the sport best: club coaches, club divers, parents, college coaches, college athletes, alumni, officials, and supporters. Your insights will directly shape the recommendations and action steps we share at the Town Hall and help guide national strategies for promoting college diving.

We invite you to complete a brief survey about your experiences, preferences, and ideas:

You can find the survey here

The survey asks about:

  • What would make you more likely to attend college diving meets
  • What types of communication, promotion, or event formats you prefer
  • What clubs can do to support college diving
  • What college programs can do to support clubs
  • What would make the meet experience more exciting, engaging, and welcoming
  • What information you need before deciding to attend a meet
  • Ideas for strengthening audience engagement and building a stronger diving community

Your feedback is essential. Whether you attend college meets regularly or have never attended one, your perspective will help us understand barriers, opportunities, and ways to elevate college diving nationwide.

Town Hall Details:

  • Sunday, December 7th at 8:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Zoom ID: 896 6142 6885
  • Passcode: 433904

We hope you will take a few minutes to share your thoughts before joining us on Sunday. Every response helps.

Thank you for supporting the sport and for contributing to this important initiative. We look forward to discussing the results and next steps with you at the Town Hall.

Warm regards,

U.S. Professional Diving Coaches Association

On behalf of the PDCA Board

@elvisVB Credit to PDCA for doing what they can to make our sport BETTER. Thoughtless negative comments do nothing to support those willing to spend the time and effort to ensure a better future for diving. Kudos to everyone that volunteers at PDCA – and thank you for your service and extraordinary efforts.

These are the last people you should be asking this advice from

I would think given the questions asked that those groups would be exactly who they’d like to hear from.
