In a dual meet against Georgia last week, sophomore Emily Brown won the 200 fly in 1:52.39, breaking Tennessee’s school record by three tenths. Having had a big learning year as a freshman, the 2nd-year is now feeling very optimistic heading into championship season, stating “it’s only up from here”.

So happy for you Emily! Way to go!
Excellent swimmer—congrats–and GBO!
Miss Emily “Downtown” Brown is a shining example of her commitment, great coaching, team synergy and support from every positive direction.
Wishing her well at the SEC Championship meet in Knoxville and at NCAAs.
This speedy sophomore is poised to final at NCAAs.
She can lead her team slide past the other less impressive UT at SECs.
Hey LV Empire continue the unstoppable rampage toward the first NCAA TEAM TITLE in 2028!
VFE (Vol for eternity)
Is it much of an “empire” if the Vols dont have a team title?
Case in point; The Lady Vols have 2 SEC TEAM TITLES and were tracking toward utter dominance until a thundering herd of rabble rousers from the flatlands of Texas barged into the SEC.
This momentary glitch in the master plan will become “rear view” optics when in 2028 the LVE led by “Big Orange” Crush, “Kamikaze” Mizuki and a cast of other sneaky fast swimmers and spinning/spearing divers WIN both the SEC and NCAA TEAM TITLES.
