Armand was the breaststroke leg on TAC Titans’ 17-18 NAG record-breaking 400 medley relay this summer.
Taylor Morris, Samantha Armand, Charlotte Hook and Keelan Cotter of the TAC Titans broke an eight-year-old record in the 400 medley relay last weekend.
The swim was a personal best by 1.5 seconds and ties her for #9 all-time in the 17-18 age group.
This morning’s prelims session will feature the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, and 200 fly.
The swim was nearly 3 full seconds better than her previous best of 8:51.18, which she swam in early April of this year.
The rising high school junior has swum a new personal best virtually every time he’s left the blocks in 3 meets since racing restarted in July.
16-year old Hook continued to show off her versatility on Sunday. She has the fastest times in the class of ’22 in the 200 fly, 200 IM, and 1650 free.
Claire Curzan swam faster than another one of her own National Age Group Records on Saturday, though there’s still not clarity on whether it will count.
