The final day of diving saw the German 10m women’s synchro team win by the smallest margin ever as Russia topped the medal table.
The youngest duo in the event, Ukraine’s Oleksii Sereda and Kseniia Bailo emerged victorious in the mixed 10m synchro event.
At the age of 13 years and 7 months, Oleksii Sereda has become the youngest gold medalist ever in the history of the diving European Championships.
In the women’s 3m final 3.70 points separated the three medalists at the Euoprean Diving Championships, while the margin was 4.74 in the men’s 10m synchro.
Germany, Russia and China were the most decorated teams this weekend in Rostock (GER) as the inaugural Diving Grand Prix 2019 leg took place from February 14-17.
