Emily Fogle (above) had an insane 26.73 breaststroke split on Purdue Black’s 200 medley relay.
Ohio State’s Matt McHugh and Purdue’s Marat Amaltdinov were named Big Ten Co-Swimmers of the Week. Amaltdinov swept the breaststroke events at the Purdue Invite, clocking a 53.87 in the 100 and a 1:54.61 in the 200.

Alexa Davis broke her third Purdue record in three sessions, crushing her 200 free mark set in prelims this morning at the Boilermaker Invitational.

The big Ten conference awarded Swimmer of the Week to both Ali Khalafalla of Indiana and Marat Amaltdinov of Purdue. Khalafalla posted a 19.70 to win the 50 free against Auburn, landing him 5th in the NCAA this season.
Purdue took down Big 10 challenger Iowa in West Lafayette yesterday, turning in several top ten ranked swims in the process.
