Old Dominion University swimming defeated Davidson on both the men’s and women’s side. The women won 177-117, while the men won 157.5-136.5.
The Georgetown University swimming & diving team swept its third-consecutive dual meet on Saturday as the Hoyas won at Davidson.
The Davidson men turned in two 1-2-3 finishes and won 11 of 16 events Friday evening in a 185-114 victory at Virginia Military Institute.
The Royals won 11 events en route to a dominating performance against the Wildcats. Queens won the meet 153-65 behind Dmytro Sydorchenko.
The Davidson women’s swimming team won eight of 14 events, while Crossan Cooper swam to first in two events for the men as both teams bested Old Dominion on Saturday.
Alyssa Marsh and the girls of Pine Lake Prep brought home their school’s first state title in any sport by winning the North Carolina 1A/2A state title over the weekend. The boys of Washington High also took home a team title in a great show of depth.
