Claire Weinstein was about three and a half seconds off of Katie Ledecky’s 1000 free 15-16 NAG record as she swam a personal best by over 7 seconds.


2023 Futures Day 4 – Sacramento: Sandpipers of Nevada pick up 4 wins & 2 OT cut

Sandpiper’s Luke Ellis won the 200 backstroke and 200 IM, while teammate’s Joshua Brown and Chloe Mudadu added wins in the 1500 and 800, respectively.

Sandpipers of Nevada teammates Luke Ellis and Joshua Brown nabbed the top two spots in the men’s 400 free, both swimming under the OT cut time of 3:55.59.

Day 1 saw Tom Higdon winning the 100 breast in 1:02.05, getting under the Olympic Trials cut and qualifying him for his second Olympic Trials meet.
