In Westmont, Summer McIntosh didn’t have the swims she was quite hoping for. After going 8:10 in the 800 Free (2nd to Katie Ledecky) and 2:04 in the 200 fly (1st), McIntosh expressed frustration with her times.
However, she also said that training in Austin is going great, and she couldn’t ask for a better group of athletes and coaches. Looking forward to Pan Pacs later this year, McIntosh is very motivated by chasing world records, emphasizing she wants more and she wants to lower the ones she already has.
WR 200m IM tonight. Bank it.
I hope you’re right but most of Summer’s long course WRs seem to happen June/July.

Agreed, I know people wanted her to stay in France and I get it. But she seems really happy in Austin and is training well and that’s the most important thing! She will be spectacular this summer
She probably does her 4 core events at pan pacs. Then does a 5th event at trials
