Southern Connecticut State’s Drone-tastic Training Trip Video

Over break, the Southern Connecticut State team, led by Coach Tim Quill and Assistant Coach CJ Morantook a 10-day trip to Davie, Florida for their winter training. Their training trip video showcases what looks like a fun and challenging trip for a tightly-knit team. One of the highlights is the beginning overhead shot of the pool, but don’t worry, the Youtube description reads “No drones were harmed in the making of this video.” 

So far this season in dual competition, the Southern Connecticut State women are 2-4, and the men are 2-3. In  their most recent meet this weekend, both teams took wins against Le Moyne, the men 121-107 and the women 129-104. Individual wins came from Kayla Laydon (1000 free: 11:07.30), Tyler Steskla (1000 free: 10:18.01), Katie Crochet (100 free: 53.76, 200 free: 1:57.25,), Dylan Swanepoel (200 free: 1:45.96), Katie Krajcik (50 free: 26.02), Tyler Vander Vos (50 free: 22.07, 200 back: 2:03.34), Louis Geist (200 IM: 2:00.07), Haley Boland (1 meter: 233.93, 3 meter: 245.63), Salim Lemond (1 meter: 282.45, 3 meter: 231.23), Lilly Martin (200 fly: 2:17.34), Raymond Cswerko (200 fly: 1:55.77), Cory Knapp (100 free: 49.78), Sydney Fromkin (500 free: 5:24.69), and Tim Buff (500 free: 4:57.85).

The teams will compete this weekend at home against Pace University.
