Sawyer Keyes, a current high school senior from Missoula, Montana, has committed to swim for Division I Seton Hall University. Keyes will graduate from Hellgate High School in spring 2020 and join the Pirates’ class of 2024.
Keyes is a current year-round swimmer for the Billings Aquatic Club Stingrays under Coach Sean Marshall. Earlier this year at the Montana Swimming Short Course State Championships, Keyes placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle (1:45.10), 1,000 freestyle (9:56.99) and 500 freestyle (4:50.15).
This year at the 2020 Big East Swimming and Diving Championships with Seton Hall, Keyes would have had multiple finals performances with his current best times. He would have placed 6th in the 1650 freestyle (15:46.41) and 11th in the 500 freestyle (4:33.34).

At the Big East Championships this year, the Pirates placed 3rd as a team and 15 of the Pirates were named to the All-Big East Team.
Keyes collegiate career will begin at Seton Hall University fall 2020.
