RMSC Seniors Nolan, Wade Announce College Commitments

Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club teammates Kennedy Nolan and Allison Wade have announced their college commitments for the 2018-19 school year: Nolan will head to Florida Institute of  Technology while Wade plans to swim for Loyola University Maryland. The pair swim in the National Training Group at RMSC’s Olney location under coach Dave Kraft, and are long-time teammates, having come up together through the program since they were 8-and-Unders.

Kennedy Nolan – Florida Institute of Technology

Nolan has verbally committed to the Panthers and plans to study Engineering: “I’m extremely excited to further my education and swimming career at FIT. Swimming for RMSC since the age of 7 has taught me the value of commitment, hard work and dedication. The support from my teammates and coaches have shaped me into the person I am today.”

Nolan is captain of Sherwood High School swim team, the 2018 Maryland 4A/3A State Champion and Metro Champion.  She has been a PVS Scholar Athlete, a multi-year Sectionals qualifier and finalist, and a multi-year Metros finalist.  She had a strong senior year with best times in the vast majority of her events.

Allison Wade – Loyola University Maryland

Wade has verbally committed to the Greyhounds and plans to study Psychology: “It is incredibly bittersweet to think that I will be leaving behind some amazing friendships and coaches I have met through RMSC.  I look forward to taking all of the good memories that I have made as I continue on to swim in college and make more memories.”

Wade is captain of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School Swim team.  She is a multi-year NCSA Junior Nationals qualifier, a PVS Scholar Athlete, a multi-year Sectionals qualifier and finalist, and multi-year Metros finalist.
