Smith was faster today on the first 100 of her race, flipping under Kaylee McKeown‘s World Record pace that McKeown swam last week in her win. Smith was under McKeown’s old World Record of a 1:57.87 but McKeown lowered that record to a 1:57.33 in her win. Smith had the lead through the first 100 of the race.
Smith has now been sub-2:00 in the event five times. Only McKeown has been under 2:00 more as she has been under that mark six times.

You seem to have forgotten Kaylee beat Regan as she normally does. And she broke her World Record.
The records at the World Cup are coming in like a freight train full speed!
Good to see swimming have these achievements!
