Practice + Pancakes: 3 Workouts for 1 with Princeton Men on Tuesday Afternoon

SwimSwam wants to give you an inside look at what a normal day-in-the-life looks like for any given swimmer, and how that differs from team to team or city to city. We send our head of production, Coleman Hodges, to be a fly on the wall at practice, then relay what he discovered back to you over pancakes. Or at least breakfast.

After Olympic coverage rolled right into the ISL season 3 regular-season coverage, I am finally able to hit the road in some capacity and go film practice. on Just Tuesday, I took the train (4 trains to be exact) from Brooklyn, NY to Princeton, NJ to go film the Princeton men’s afternoon practice. Head coach Matt Crispino had 3 groups going: IM (200 IM anaerobic focus), middle-distance (200 pace), and sprint (25’s fast with gear).
