Potomac Marlins’ Hannah Hale Signs NLI with Davis & Elkins Senators

Hannah Hale, a senior at Lake Braddock High School in Burke, Virginia, has signed a National Letter of Intent to swim for the Davis & Elkins Senators next year. Hale swims year-round with Potomac Marlins in Arlington, Virginia, and specializes in distance free and butterfly.

“I am thrilled to be part of this amazing swim program and to be a Senator. I love the campus, growth of the program and the stunning scenery.”

Hale missed part of her junior year after a concussion, but she swam the 100 free and 500 free at the 2015 Virginia 6A North Region Championships. She holds several records on her summer team, and is a member of the 400 medley relay quartet that holds the Potomac Marlins’ team record for 13-14 girls.

Her best times are:

  • 200 Fly – 2:17.38
  • 1000 free – 11:12.93
  • 1650 free – 18:52.86

Davis & Elkins, located in Elkins, West Virginia, moved from the large Bluegrass Mountain Conference (with teams from NCAA D2, D3, and NAIA) to the smaller Great Midwest Athletic Conference (D2) this season.
