Peaty Makes Short List for BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award

British Olympic champion Adam Peaty has been named among 16 athletes who have been shortlisted for the 2016 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. A vote for the winner will take place on the night of their live show in Birmingham on Sunday, December 18th. The event will take place at the Genting Arena, and coverage will be available on BBC One, BBC Radio 5 live, and the BBC Sports website.

Peaty is just phenomenal and totally deserves to win after his Olympic demolition job, however there’s no way they can ignore Andy Murray…Wimbledon champion and number 1 in the world now.
