Ohio State Secures Verbal Commitment from In-State Kendyl Ferrara

Kendyl Ferrara of Cincinnati, Ohio gave her commitment to swim for The Ohio State University, saying,

“Beyond excited to swim for this amazing team next year. Go bucks!”

Ferrara swims year- round for the Anderson Barracudas YMCA where she is a member of their national team. At the 2016 YMCA Long Course Nationals, Ferrara scored 11th in the 1500 and 22nd in the 200 freestyle. Currently a senior at Saint Ursula Academy, she placed 12th in the 500 freestyle and was a member of the 400 freestyle relay which scored third at the 2016 OHSSA State Meet last February.

Ferrara is a 2016 All-American and earned the Honorable Mention All-City title for Divison 1 OHSAA swimming as well.

Get off your high horse amigo. Ever heard of Conor Dwyer? Walk-on or not, anyone can become elite.

There are other aspects to recruiting than just times, by the way. Bill Dorenkott certainly has a better eye for talent than you do, otherwise you would probably be a Big Ten head coach helping to develop great student-athletes. I am guessing you aren’t though based on your compelling desire to sit on a computer and insult the future of college swimming.
