Richter, Craver lead Goucher Gophers Through Yellow Jacket Invitational

Swimming for the Goucher Gophers, Nicole Craver picked up points in all three of her individual events, highlighted by a third place finish in the 200-yard individual medley, to pace Goucher at the Yellow Jacket Invitational this weekend. She was joined by teammate Morgan Richter who continued his assault on the men’s swimming program record book this weekend, breaking his second school mark of the season in the 1650-yard freestyle at the Yellow Jacket Invitational as Goucher registered an eighth place finish at the 11-team meet.

Oakland, Eastern Michigan split close finishes at Eastern Michigan Invite

Oakland won 28 events in total, winning the women’s meet and finishing second to Eastern Michigan for the men.

VIDEO: Meyer aims to crack 3:40 in 400 IM at NCAAs

Arizona’s Michael Meyer won the 400 IM one night after winning the 200 IM, and he also put up the third fastest time in the NCAA in the process. Meyer went 3:41.73 to blow away the field, leading by nearly 3 seconds before the race was even half over.
