Tonight’s finals of the Arena Pro Swim at Santa Clara will see plenty of action, including a 50 free final with Nathan Adrian, Anthony Ervin, and James Magnussen.
After cruising to a 1:54.34 in prelims, Caeleb Dressel dropped the hammer tonight in the men’s 200 freestyle. Dressel swam a new lifetime best to win the event in 1:48.39.

On day 2 of the Longhorn Elite Invite, Michael Phelps will swim the 200 freestyle in an attempt to put up a time fast enough for him to get a spot on the 4×200 free relay in Rio without having to swim the race at trials.
Tonight, Conor Dwyer swam a 1:45.41, less than a tenth of a second off his best time of 1:45.32 from the 2013 World Championships. That swim was over a second faster than Dwyer has been at any meet since July of 2013.
