Glenmont, New York, native Sydney Sorbello is taking her talents to the Patriot League to swim for Boston University in the fall of 2020.

“I’m elated to announce my verbal commitment to Boston University,” Sorbello said. “I can’t wait to be a part of such an amazing university and program!! Thank you to all of my coaches, family and friends for supporting me throughout my career! Go Terriers!”

Sorbello finished sixth in the 100 back (56.85) and eighth in the 50 free (24.03) at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Championship in November. She also was part of Bethlehem Central High School’s runnerup 200 free relay and sixth place 200 medley relay teams.
