Nashville Aquatics Club (NAC) Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Nashville, TN—For the last forty years, the Nashville Aquatic club has produced successful athletes and coaches. NAC’s commitment to “Tradition, Dedication, and Excellence” has kept the team consistently in the forefront of the sport nationally. This year, NAC has once again received the “Gold Medal Club” title with USA Swimming marking it one of the top 20 swim teams in the country.  With such a strong history of committed athletes and families, all led by a dedicated coaching staff, this team continues to set themselves apart.

Nashville Aquatic Club will be celebrating the rich tradition of the club with a 40th Anniversary Celebration Weekend in November 2016. We’re looking for folks not only to come and support the team, but also send us photos and videos of your history with NAC.

Over the years, NAC has consistently given rise to top-notch athletes and coaches.  The club has produced four Olympians, dozens of Olympic Trial qualifiers, national junior team members, and national champions. NAC’s success not only tells the story of these champions; it also highlights the athletes, families and coaches who have all been a part of the program.

The NAC 40th Anniversary Celebration Weekend begins Friday, November 25th with an Alumni Swim Meet followed by a celebratory party on Saturday, November 26th.

To find out more information and get updates on the 40th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, visit the Nashville Aquatic Club FACEBOOK Page or the NAC 40th Anniversary FACEBOOK Event Page. Currently, event planners are seeking photos and videos from previous and current NAC swimmers, parents and coaches depicting their own “NAC glory days”, which can be emailed to [email protected].
