Lucy Monroe, a current high school senior from Lebanon, Ohio, has committed to swim for Division III Carnegie Mellon University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Monroe will graduate from Lebanon High School in spring 2020 and join Tartan’s class of 2024.
Monroe currently swims for Countryside Ralph Stole YMCA. In 2019, Monroe placed 4th in the 500 freestyle (5:25.05) at the Southwest District Championships—Mason. She is also a Sectional qualifier.

This year at the 2020 UAA Championships with the Tartans, Monroe would have placed 21st in the 100 butterfly (58.81) and 23rd in the 200 butterfly (2:15.52) with her current best times.

At the UAA Championships under head coach Matt Kinney, the Carnegie Mellon Tartans placed 5th as a team. They also had one team member make both the Academic All-District team and Academic All-American team.
