Looking forward to NCs this year. Prediction, Louisville wins at least one relay and finishes in the top 5.

Wait who was the last 60 point scorer from outside of UVA?

I might be missing context…I don’t see anything in the article about a 60 point scorer. Gretchen Walsh was the only one on the women’s side. Hubert Kos scored 60 on the men’s side.

Did you mean to leave this on a different article?

I think they were referring to Gorbenko’s potential for winning 3 individual events at NCAAs? Who was the last non UVA female swimmer to win 3 individual events at a single NCAA’s is the question I think

gorbenko is kinda the israeli alex walsh lol. they basically have the equivalent range and strengths.

she has always had a lot of potential but has had trouble peaking at championship meets. will be pretty interesting if that changes w this new training group

Note – she has been training with Louisville since early 2025 (a full year) so the training should certainly have set in by now to see actual progress in that department. Louisville notoriously peaks at the end of the year so I’m also pretty curious how it works out for her.
It appears to be working seeing how she swam LCM the past year, better than previous years.
