After adding time in the 50 and 100 back from the first World Cup stop in Carmel, Kaylee McKeown wanted to see what she was capable of in the 200 back on the last night in Westmont. The Aussie legend did just that, not only clocking a time faster than Carmel, but faster than she had ever been… or anyone had ever been. Touching in 1:57.87, she broke Regan Smith’s world record in the event and became the first woman ever under 1:58.
HOW TO WATCH THE WORLD AQUATICS WORLD CUP
A comprehensive look at television and streaming options for the meet can be found here.
U.S. viewers can watch both prelims and finals on the USA Swimming Network and Peacock, Canadians can stream every session on CBC, and the source for the majority of European nations will be the Eurovision Sport platform.
The competition will also be streamed live and on-demand with the World Aquatics Recast channel. A three-day pass requires 590 credits, which costs $8.26 USD.

Are WRs ever “the normal race plan”?
I think so. If the majority of world records are set when people abandon their race plan then they must not have a great race plan lol
She’ll go a 1.57.3 in Toronto for sure.
no
Sometimes Mahmoud’s predictions seem a bit crazy but he’s right about Kaylee predictions every single time. I’m making note of this and coming back to it next week haha
That’s just because it’s impossible overestimate Kaylee.
remembered you’d said this and had to come back after her swim. Insane prediction 🙂
Some of the best and most interesting races are those that you don’t follow your normal race plan
