Ellen Walshe on 400 IM Field in Toronto: “It’s gonna be a dog fight”

After placing 2nd in the 400 IM in Carmel (4:28.47), Ireland’s Ellen Walshe dropped over 3 seconds (4:25.33) to get her hand on the wall first in the same event in Westmont. Carmel had been her first 400 in a while and Walshe felt she was able to get her bearings a bit more on this second stop. Looking ahead to Toronto, the former Tennessee Volunteer is expecting a very tightly packed field in the event.

The competition will also be streamed live and on-demand with the World Aquatics Recast channel. A three-day pass requires 590 credits, which costs $8.26 USD.
