Florida’s Josh Liendo swam to the #2 relay split all-time as he anchored Florida to a win in the 400 free relay, swimming a 39.47. Also making the top relay splits all-time was LSU’s Jere Hribar who swam to a 36.84, a split that is the #4 split all-time.
All-Time Top Relay Splits (Performances), Men’s 100 Free
- Jordan Crooks, 39.36 (2025 NCAAs)
- Josh Liendo, 39.47 (2026 SECs)
- Jordan Crooks, 39.52 (2025 SECs)
- Jere Hribar, 39.84 (2026 SECs)
- Jordan Crooks, 39.89 (2024 Tennessee Invite)
- Jonny Kulow, 39.93 (2025 NCAAs)
- Jordan Crooks, 39.95 (2025 NCAAs)
Neither swimmer had ever split sub-40 seconds coming into tonight. Hribar notably split a 40.15 earlier this week at SECs which now sits as the #9 performance on a relay split. Tonight’s swim is Liendo’s first time in the top 10 splits for the 100 free.
The two also posted some all-time splits in the 50 free earlier this week, as Liendo swam a 17.58 and Hribar split a 17.59. Those sit at the #5 and #6 relay performances all-time.

So where was this effort by Josh in the 100 free finals. Reaction time and the most momentum start don’t add up to the time difference – to me. And I’m a gator nation long time representative (1979 grad)
just say you’ve never been on a relay?
