Just look at his 200 free split from the 800 relay (1:37.92) that has to be at least three seconds off what he should have went.

Well something is wrong. The 200 fly was way off for Chase. I think he’s missed his taper. happens to everyone at one point or another.

That’s unfortunately not only the 400 IM. Chase Kalisz was more than 2 seconds off his best time in the 200 IM.
I’m sure he will rebound in the long course season.
