AMES, Iowa – Head Coach of the Iowa State Women’s Swimming and Diving team, Matt Leach announced the 2024-25 schedule on Monday. Through the next few months, the athletes will participate in eight duals, three of which are at home, and an invitational. As Coach Leach begins his first season, there is a lot of excitement.

“It is an exciting time to be a Cyclone and I couldn’t be more excited to release our schedule. Our meet schedule will not only challenge our family, but will also help us grow as we prepare to get back to NCAAs and work to move up within the Big 12, and most importantly on a national scale,” Coach Leach said.

The Cyclones start their season with a scrimmage (Cardinal and Gold Meet) in Ames, then follow with a home meet against South Dakota State on Oct. 10, South Dakota on Oct. 18, and at Nebraska on Oct. 25.

A week before Thanksgiving, the team will head to Iowa City for the Hawkeye Invite and will follow up with a second trip for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series on Dec. 13.

“It will be exciting to experience my first Cy-Hawk series dual meet,” Leach said, “I can’t wait to have our swimmers and divers compete at a high level so we can leave lasting memories for them and for all our Cyclone Family!”

On Jan. 11, the Cyclones are back at home to face UNI. Traveling down to Texas, ISU will compete in dual meets at TCU on Jan. 17 and North Texas on Jan. 18.

Rounding out the regular season is a dual at Kansas on Feb 7.

The Cyclones then head to Federal Way, Washington for the 2025 Big 12 Swimming & Diving Championship from Feb. 25 – Mar. 1.

The NCAA Zone Diving Championships will be hosted in Iowa City from Mar. 10-12, with the NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships in Federal Way, Washington, from Mar. 19-22.
