Entry list is out for that second QLD prep meet with a mixture of national team members and young prospects entered. Maybe this one will be more interesting than the first one.

Yes looking forward to seeing Duncan competing, shame he’s not doing world SC though.

Kinda strange for him to make the trip just for one World Cup stop. Maybe he was already in the US?

Looks like he’s been in Europe pretty much since Comm Games based on his insta

Also looking forward to seeing what sort of time Ledecky will do in the 400IM and Mcintosh in the 200 Butterfly + 100 and 200 Freestyles. Ledecky v Mcintosh in the 800 Freestyle will be exciting as well although I think the 800 free is just a little too long for Mcintosh to challenge Ledecky.

We’ll see about the IM but I don’t know that battle in 800 and I think both of them gonna be in 400 just like last week and based on last week 1500 , there’s a good chance Ledecky gonna break 800 free world record and I’m pretty excited about it.

Mcintosh isn’t racing the 400 free or IM this week.

Yes I know I just saw on fina website that she’s gonna go for 200 free and dropped 400 im and I think Ledecky could get that world record in 800 cause she just set american record on 800 in 1500 race a few days ago her time is just one second from the world record and i think she could go to mid 7:50s.

I was wondering why QLD would have a LCM prep meet so close to SCM worlds before I realised that The QLD Championships are literally during worlds. Interesting choice

Well December is the LC season in Australia. SC worlds being in Melbourne this year doesn’t change that.

Qld Champs are always that week. FINA calendar is so late in posting sometimes
