Georgia HS Champion Mary Adam Commits to Florida Atlantic (2021)

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Spartans Aquatic Club’s Mary Adam has committed to Florida Atlantic University for next season. Adam is a senior at Chamblee Charter School just outside of Atlanta.

I could not be more excited to announce my commitment to swim and study at Florida Atlantic University! Thank you so much to my parents, coaches, and friends for helping me on my journey. Go owls!

  • 100 breast – 1:04.63
  • 200 breast – 2:23.17

Adam is a breaststroker who went lifetime bests in both breaststroke distances at the end of March at a club meet in Georgia.

At the 2021 Georgia HS 4-5A State Championships, Adam won the state title in the 100 breast (1:04.80) and helped the 200 medley relay to the state title, too. She split a 29.40 on the breast leg, and her contributions helped Chamblee finish third overall at the meet.

This past season, Adam would’ve ranked third on the FAU roster in both breaststrokes. She would’ve scored in B-finals of both events at the 2021 Conference USA Championships.

Adam joins Riley Trout in FAU’s class of 2025.
