The 2025 Gamecock Invite is now in the books. At the end of the meet, South Carolina stood atop the women’s standings comfortably, while the UNC Tar Heels won the men’s meet by a comfortable margin.

UNC’s Louis Dramm had a big swim last night, winning the men’s 200 IM in 1:41.92. That performance comes in exactly 1 second off Dramm’s career best of 1:40.92, which is also the UNC program record. He was great all the way around, splitting 22.05 on fly, 25.11 on back, 29.62 on breast, and 25.14 on free. The Tar Heels were excellent in the event, seeing ben Delmar take 2nd in 1:44.28, Xavier Ruiz finish 3rd in 1:45.71, and Carter Freudenstein come in 4th with a 1:46.20.

South Carolina’s Jordan Agliano won the women’s 200 fly in 1:55.86. She was just a hair off her career best of 1:55.75. UNC’s Taylor Bloom finished right behind Agliano, swimming a 1:55.98.

South Carolina’s Amy Riordan continued her fantastic meet, winning the women’s 200 back in 1:52.59. She won the race by 2 seconds, coming in about a second off her career mark of 1:51.23.

JT Schmid won the men’s 200 back for UNC, popping a 1:41.42. He nearly hit his personal best, which stands at 1:40.84.

The Tar Heels had an impressive performance in the men’s 400 free relay Louis Dramm (42.76), Sean Setzer (42.21), David Quaresma (42.95), and Martin Kartavi (42.10) combined for a 2:50.02, winning the race by almost 4 seconds.
