French Portrait Series: Florent Manaudou (Video)

2016 RIO OLYMPIC GAMES

The French Federation is releasing a series of quick-hit videos on the FFN YouTube channel introducing members of France’s 2016 Olympic team in facts and figures. The videos are all under a minute and are a great way to portrait France’s stars for the Snapchat crowd.

In this video, we learn that Florent Manaudou:

-was born on November 12, 1990 in Villeurbanne, France;
-began swimming in September, 1994
-participated in his first international meet in 2011 at the World Championships in Shanghai;
-won an Olympic title before ever winning a French national title;
-is a 22-time French national champion;
-is a 6-time European champion;
-is a 4-time World champion;
-measures 6’5” (199 cm) and weighs 218 pounds (99 kg)
-is 25 years old.
