Olympians Adam Brown  and Peter Vanderkaay  (aka PVK) discuss when to breathing in freestyle.  Brown, a sprinter, does not breathe in the 50 free. For PVK, a middle distance & distance freestyler, breathing is all about getting enough oxygen and staying relaxed.
