Croatian Backstroker Alen Mosić Commits to D2 Champ, Queens

Alen Mosić of Split, Croatia, will join the Queens University of Charlotte Royals in the fall. Mosić is a member of Jadran Swimming Club in Split and also represents his country internationally on the Croatian National Junior Team.

Mosić competed at the 43rd Arena European Junior Swimming Championships last summer in Hungary. The previous year he swam at the 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Tbilisi. He told SwimSwam:

“I’m proud to join Royals because they have great coaching staff and very fast team. My main goal is to compete at Olympics in Tokyo and with Royals I think I could achieve that. The Queens University will also fulfill my expectations both academic and athletic.”

Mosić specializes mainly in backstroke. His best times (with SCY conversions) are:
