Colorado State Record Holder Lindsay Morrow Makes Verbal Commitment to NC State

Lindsay Morrow, the Colorado High School 4A state record holder in the 100 back from Evergreen High School, has given her verbal accord to the North Carolina State Wolfpack for 2015-16.

“I am so excited to join the Wolfpack next year. NC State is a great school with many opportunities. I loved the enthusiasm and the energy of the coaches and loved the team atmosphere. GO PACK!!!”

Morrow is a versatile backstroke/breaststroke/IM specialist who trains with Jeffco Hurricanes in Evergreen, Colorado. She helped propel Evergreen to the Colorado 4A state title in 2014, winning the 200 IM and 100 back –both with All-American times, swimming in the 400 free relay and leading off the 200 medley relay. Her top times are:

50y back – 26.48
100y back – 55.41
200y back – 1:58.03
200y IM – 2:03.05
400y IM – 4:23.24
100y breast -1:06.02
200y breast – 2:20.53

Morrow had a good long course season, dropping 1.4 seconds in the 200 IM and 4 seconds in the 100 fly. If she keeps up along that path she should be a significant point-scorer for the Wolfpack all four years. Her 200 back would already land her in the C-final at ACC Championships and she’s not far off in the 100 back and 200 IM.

Morrow is a member of USA Swimming’s Scholastic All American team.
