Colombia Diver Carolina Murillo Urrea Receives 2-Year Doping Ban for Cocaine

FINA announced today that Colombian diver Carolina Murillo Urrea received a two-year ban from the Colombian Swimming Federation (FECNA) for having tested positive to the metabolites of Cocaine (Class S.6.a Non-Specified Stimulants) last summer. In November of 2013, she won gold in platform diving, silver in 3-meter, and bronze in 1-meter diving at the Bolivarian Games. She also represented her country at the 2014 South American Games in Santiago, Chile.
