NCAA competition continues to heat up this week, with the first major triangular of the season: Auburn will host SEC foes Tennessee along with Big Ten power Wisconsin in a major showdown on Friday. That should include blue-chip transfer Stanzi Moseley (pictured) making her debut for the Volunteers.

New Mexico To Open Season At Denver

The University of New Mexico women’s swimming and diving team will open its season on the road on Friday, October 13, at 3 p.m. with a dual meet at Denver University, followed by a second dual meet on Saturday, October 14 at 10 a.m at Air Force Academy.

Junior Jason van der Touw of the Cleveland State University men’s swimming & diving team was named Horizon League Men’s Swimmer of the Week as announced by the League office Tuesday afternoon.

FGCU’s Gracie Redding Earns CCSA Swimmer Of The Week Honors

Florida Gulf Coast junior Gracie Redding (Orlando, Fla.) has been named the CCSA Women’s Swimmer of the Week, while Liberty junior Amy Schools (Clinton, Md.) has been named CCSA Women’s Diver of the Week for meets contested Oct. 2-9, the CCSA announced Tuesday.

Pearson had an excellent home meet against Southern Illinois, bringing in two individual victories and one relay win.

Fresno State junior Ugne Mazutaityte has been named the Mountain West Swimmer of the Week, while San José State senior Cari Reiswig earned the MW Diver of the Week honors for competition ending on Oct. 7, 2017.

South Dakota’s Sabrina Sabadeanu was named The Summit League Women’s Swimmer of the Week, while Valparaiso’s Dylan Kirar earned the Men’s Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Oct. 1 – 9.
