COAST program visits ADN Swim Project

Swimming News / International Club Swimming Spotlight

COAST is a composite swimming team based on swimmers from six local clubs within Aberdeen City, Scotland. It provides a focused competitive program for the local elite swimmers, such as Jack Ness & Andrew McGovern.

Head Coach of City of Aberdeen Swimming Team, Gordon Glasgow, spent two days in Caserta visiting ADN Swim Project. The purpose of Coach Glasgow’s trip was to see the structure of ADN, in financial and technical terms, in addition to what the city has to offer to a high profile sports program.

The feedback from Gordon Glasgow at the end of his trip to Caserta:

ADN has set up in Caserta a programme with the level of care and support befitting professional sportspeople who are serious about succeeding at the highest level. The environment created by Andrea and his team leaves athletes free to focus on their own goals whilst their needs are met on every level by driven, motivated and professional staff.

“Mr. Glasgow contacted us a couple of weeks ago about visiting our program and our city. We are always happy to show the rest of the swimming community what ADN and the city of Caserta have to offer.” (ADN’s GM, Apostolis Tsagarakis).
